Our goal is to act as a global platform for collaborative creative artists across media, genres, age, gender and nationalities. Global Units are driven by curiosity, pure human respect, meaningful collaborations and the urge to help each other, with no religion or politics involved! We hereby hope to broaden your understanding of cultural diversity.
How the platform aims to service it’s members:
Live Events, First of all we like to setup live events. Theses live events mixes improvised and pre composed frameworks of performances. Every kind of artist can participate, and will be participating with artists whom they might not know.
The key point is to be extremly openminded and focused at the same time, and be aware that doing a “solo show of” will not make a good performance, only 100% collaboration is gonna work in this kind of get together. All live events are live video streamed to our website as well as recorded and released as download afterwards.
The searchable database was conceived to make it easier to find additional collaborating artists. As an example, you can search for a specific instrument from any country and get a usable list of performers that you can check out easily. You can communicate and ask if one of them is available to record some notes or a solo for your next album?
If you’d like your work discovered by producers, bandleaders, composers, musicians, text writers, painters, graphic designers, club managers, sound engineers you should become a member as soon as possible.
The active fan group is setup to help organizers, artists and fans find each other. By making a fan profile you can connect with organizers who are interested in what your doing. Furthermore you can team up and be friends with other active fans and start to organize events by yourself!
A network that helps promote the final products, setting up small exhibitions, concerts and festivals, and presenting the different collaborative projects.
Collaborative presentations such as concerts and sell-able products available within and fair trade marketing system.
Video documentations of the different collaborative projects, including live streaming and archiving of the actual shows.
Global Units do not share your email, with anybody unless we ask you first!
Only people who become members and who add you as a friend in the system can contact you by using the Global Units built in communication tools.
